Robbie Miles
A seasoned screen producer, development executive, and educator, Robbie has worked in Los Angeles, New York and across Australia on projects for major players including Sony, NBCUniversal, Full Clip Productions, Animal Logic, and the ABC on everything from war epics (Deadline Gallipoli, Danger Close) to comedy/sci-fi series (Sarah’s Channel with Claudia O’Doherty) and underwear commercials.
In his capacity as an educator, Robbie served several years as Subject Leader for Producing & Production at AFTRS, Robbie is now Head of Industry & Alumni Engagement at AFTRS, consulting with companies, guilds and agencies to support the future of screen & audio storytelling in Australia.
He lives in Sydney on Gadigal land.
Gary Edwards
Before moving to film Gary was a mainstay of the Australian comic book scene. He has been an active member of that industry for more than a decade as an award-winning writer and editor. He has served as a director of Gestalt Comics and Comics on Country, a not for profit dedicated to helping First Nation creators tell their stories. Gary brings to Miles Ahead an inherent and deep knowledge of what makes a story work, and how they best can connect with an audience.
He lives in Melbourne on Wurundjeri land with his wife, his son, two dogs, and far too many comics.
